In the begining there was...

Its only June 3rd and it has already proved to be the beginning of so many things.

On the 1st Fuse, a young adult group at my church, started a 10 week study of Crazy/Love by Francis Chan. Ive read the book once before but am really looking forward to studying it as well as diving in depth with some close friends to discover a crazy love for God as well as learning about not just believing in God but loving him with all your heart.

Also on June 1st, Myself and 2 friends have begun a read through the Bible in 90 days program. Its about 12 pages a day, which is just enough to be daunting but not enough to be discouraging. I like having a set of pages to read each day, and I can;t contain my excitement for reading the entire Bible. I'm 3 days in and I play on writing much more about that bu I am completely overwhelmed. I had my first question on chapters in, and had to send a text message to my Pastor, this could get crazy. but a good crazy.

Also the start of this blog. I have another blog on another site that I have had for years and years, but it is much more for myself than anyone else. This blog is more of a discussion type blog, a what up in my life, a place to ask questions, to keep up with friend who are doing similar studies as I am and also to post pictures.

Kenya is only 6.5 months away at this point and its about time to begin collecting support. I am so excited to be going back to Kenya and even more excited to be experiencing it now that I have more of an active role with World Hope.

I can't conclude a post without a picture so for now I leave you with one of my fave new pictures. Its of a little boy named Bradley, very early last Sunday Morning at church for Hero day. If you know him he is seriously the funniest little boy and I feel like this picture is SO him.
